Hello Glenmeade Families,

3 more weeks of school! Monday through Friday is Teacher Appreciation week. At Glenmeade we do extend this for all staff and we appreciate everything PTA does for us! Your room moms and the PTA instagram has ideas for Teacher Appreciation. There are many activities and events in May, please check the newsletter, instagram, and our marquee.

As we head into the final weeks of the school year, we appreciate your help in keeping our school community feeling their best! A few simple reminders go a long way:

• Encourage regular handwashing, especially before eating and after using the restroom
• Remind your child to cover coughs and sneezes (elbow works great!)
• Keep your child home if they are not feeling well or have a fever
• Send your child with a water bottle each day to stay hydrated
• Help them get a good night’s sleep so they’re ready to learn

If your child develops symptoms such as a persistent cough, fever, or difficulty breathing, we recommend checking in with your healthcare provider. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping our students stay healthy, happy, and ready to learn each day!

Please understand that safety of your children will always be our number one priority. Glenmeade is really trying hard to help with pick up and drop off traffic. If you go into the opposite lane to by pass the line to get into the school, there is a chance you will get a ticket. If you need to come in to park, please still wait in the line. Once you are in the line, you can use the passing lane to PARK, not to bypass cars and cut in line. Please help us keep students safe, drivers safe, cars safe, and the community safe.
